Bending Grounds Fire Bender

Mid-range Blast, a dashable 15% burn, and Flame Kick for the walls Water and Earth plant in your face.

Fire Bender

Fire is the Bending Grounds aggressor. You win by making people respect Fire Blast, then punishing the wall or ice they planted with Flame Kick. In the community BETA ranking Fire sits A on the element tier list — below Water’s conversion, alongside Earth’s space, above Air and Chi Blockers. This is a public-beta kit on an 18-player Roblox server.

Identity

Fire wants the mid-range. You are not a pure zoner and you are not a pure grappler. You throw Blast to force a dash, a wall, or a deflect, then you decide whether the next button is another projectile or a kick that breaks structure. Flame Burst is the area swing when bodies clump in the courtyard — useful in 18-player chaos, greedy in a clean 1v1 if you skip Kick.

Compare that identity to the rest of the roster on the Players hub. Water converts punches. Earth decides where the fight exists. Air lives. Chi Blockers run. Fire pressures.

Strengths

  • Fire Blast is fast to learn and always relevant. Other fire can deflect it, which makes the Fire mirror a mind game instead of a DPS race. Earth walls block it, which is why Earth sits next to you in A. The move can apply a 15% burn. A dash clears that burn — yours or theirs.
  • Flame Kick is why Fire is not a projectile bot. Close range, breaks earth or ice, ragdolls, and can stuff rock kick or ice spikes. When Water plants ice or Earth plants a wall, Kick is the button.
  • Burn plus kick is a two-layer clock. Dash too early and you get a free approach; never dash and they fight on fire. Play the 15% as a pressure flag, not a spreadsheet. Lightning and Sun Warrior on the sub-bending list cash a turn faster; they do not erase the four Blast rules. Developer-direction clips from @BendingGrounds described lightning as a Fire master-rank exclusive — strike or reflect — not a starter spin. The dedicated walkthrough is Lightning Bending. Treat that as direction until updates print a note.

Weaknesses

  • Other Fire will send Blast back. Throwing on reaction in a mirror is how you eat your own projectile.
  • Earth walls delete the plan if you never Kick. Earth players who hold space will make you look like B-tier until you walk up.
  • Water still has the denser confirm. If you whiff Blast and they start Geyser, you are on defense for a long string. Learn that string on water combos so you know when Kick can stuff ice spikes.
  • Burn is not a win. Dash clears it. Good Air and Chi Blockers will dash on rhythm and make you waste the flag.

Sample string (no fake damage)

There is no official combo card. A training route that respects the kit:

  1. Fire Blast at a range where a wall or a dash is the likely answer.
  2. If they plant earth or ice, Flame Kick — do not throw a second Blast into the prop.
  3. If burn applies, watch the dash. Kick or Burst on the panic dash, not on the burn icon itself.
  4. If they stay in your face, Burst for the clump, then reset mid-range. Do not endless-Kick a Chi Blocker who still has acrobatic dash.

Practise in the combo lab and on controls, then take it into the 18-player server.

Who Fire beats and loses to

Beats Earth who never replace a broken wall, Air who funnel instead of dash, Chi Blockers who eat burn, Water who never respect Kick. Loses to Water who convert the whiff, Earth who hold space, other Fire who deflect, anyone who blocks the obvious Burst. Community BETA opinions — watch updates and beta if Kick or ice change.

How to unlock or spin Fire

Fire comes from element spins on the current slot. Redeem codes first — NewAir is 5 spins, WeGotPlant is 6 — with how to redeem. If you are hunting a Fire burst sub, read spins and park the bank in the spin planner instead of rolling during a losing streak.

Fire is not the paywall-free lane; that is Chi Blockers. If you cannot stand a spin, play Chi, then come back to Fire when you have codes. New accounts should still finish Getting Started and how to play so Blast is not your only button.

Your win condition is making the opponent dash the burn at the wrong time, then Flame Kick the wall they trusted. Other Fire can send your Blast back; respect that mirror. After a patch, re-test whether Flame Kick still stuffs Ice and Earth before you copy an old clip.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Can other fire benders stop Fire Blast?

Yes. Other fire can deflect it, and earth walls block it. A 15% burn can apply; a dash clears that burn. Do not spam Blast into a mirror or a planted wall.

What does Flame Kick actually do?

Close-range: it breaks earth or ice, ragdolls, and can stuff rock kick or ice spikes. Use it on structure, not as a long-range poke.

Why is Fire A and not S?

Water still converts punches harder. Fire is the better structure-breaker. See the element tier list and the Water page.

Should I roll Lightning or Sun Warrior first?

Learn Kick and the burn first. Lightning is a Fire master-rank exclusive in developer-direction clips — full notes on Lightning Bending. Those Fire subs are burst layers, not a replacement for the base kit.

Is Fire paywalled?

Fire is a spin style. Redeem codes and plan with the spin planner. Chi Blockers are the lane that is not behind a paywall.
