Bending Grounds Discord and Community

The official Bending Grounds Discord is discord.gg/bendinggrounds. That invite is the one CSL Studios repeats on TikTok and in-game chatter. If a thumbnail, bio, or “tester application” uses any other invite, treat it as a community server at best and a phishing trap at worst. This page sits under the Links Hub next to Socials and Official Pages.

Bending Grounds is in public beta on Roblox: mobile, console, and PC, 18 players per server, developed by CSL Studios. It is unofficial and not affiliated with Avatar: The Last Airbender, Paramount, or Nickelodeon. Discord is where that beta actually talks — not a Trello, not a random Google Doc.

Why Discord is the live source

There is no confirmed official Trello board. Codes, tester waves, shutdown warnings, and “Plant is in” / “Air dropped” notes land in Discord first. This wiki then files them on codes, updates, beta notes, and Air and Plant.

Use Discord to learn that something changed. Use the wiki to learn what to do about it: how to redeem, spin planner, how to play.

What to do in the first ten minutes

1. Open discord.gg/bendinggrounds while you are logged into the Discord account you actually use.
2. Complete whatever verification the server asks for. Do not scan QR codes from strangers in DMs.
3. Find announcements / codes / patch channels. Mute meme channels if you only care about drops.
4. Compare any new code to the codes hub and the expired list before you type it in Character Customization.
5. If the message is a tester ping, read the studio message, not a reply that says “DM me for the form.”

Testers versus public beta

CSL Studios used Discord for tester roles while the project was building in public. The experience is in public beta on Roblox, so you do not need a secret key for a normal 18-player server. Tester pings still matter for private places, new sub-bending, or shutdown tests. Those pings live in Discord, not on Trello.

If someone sells “tester access,” “Chi Blocker unlock,” or a “Trello pack,” walk away. Chi Blockers are not paywalled in the public beta. Report the user in the official server if they are impersonating staff.

Official server versus Nation Discords

Players run Water, Earth, Fire, and Air hangouts. Those can be useful for 1v1s. They are not where NewAir or WeGotPlant drop. Staff colours, the CSL Studios name, and the invite above are the checks. Cross-check the same studio on the CSL Studios Roblox group and the socials page.

Never:

• Type your Roblox password into a Discord bot.
• “Link your account” on a lookalike OAuth page a stranger DMs you.
• Download an executor because a Discord user promised auto-parry. Read script safety first.
• Trust a Trello that claims to be the official moveset dump.

How Discord feeds the rest of the wiki

New code: codes then how to redeem. Plant or Air drop: spin planner and Air / Plant notes. Moveset tweak: combo lab, water combos, tier list. New sub-bending: sub-bending tiers and the matching players page. Shutdown: updates — do not sit in a doomed 18-player server practising a string.

After you skim announcements, go play. Discord is a firehose. The Links Hub is the short list of URLs that are actually CSL Studios. Pair this page with socials so a TikTok comment section cannot replace the invite you already have.

Keep the official invite in a notes app, not only in a tab you will lose after a crash. When the public beta shutdowns, Discord is how you learn the server is coming back and whether a code dropped with it. Redeem on the slot you mean to keep, lab one string from the combo lab, and ignore every third-party Trello that appeared in the same hour. The studio talks in one server. Everything else is noise until it is quoted there.
